  • Ongoing advisor for the Arts and Planning Division of the American Planning Association to build effective programming to connect the arts with community planning trends.

  • Co-developed the Local Arts Engagement (LAE) process in response to Americans for the Arts' 2022 Strategic Plan, aimed to redefine support for local arts agencies through an Appreciative Inquiry-based framework, involving extensive collaboration, nationwide focus groups, and resulting in enhanced support strategies and a model for arts organization development.

  • Co-created the Americans for the Arts public art and arts education research project to create tools and learning opportunities for use of public art as means to address K-12 educational goals.

  • Collaborated with Smart Growth America to educate communities on using creative placemaking techniques to address transportation challenges.

  • Advised the public art committee for the city of Hagerstown, Maryland on the role public art can play in their community and how to implement projects through best practices which lead to decision to build a cultural trail.

  • Facilitated a day-long workshop to build relationships to connect like-minded administrators and artists for the development of the Mid-Atlantic Public Art Professionals.

  • Mentored interns on public art administration through discussion and access of educational opportunities which lead to their development of projects to support local professionals, including a paper on crowdfunding for public art projects and an education poster on public art administration career information.
